Formed by Carl Barât in 2005, Dirty Pretty Things were an English, indie-rock band consisting of Barât (previous leader of group The Libertines), Didz Hammond, Gary Powell and Anthony Rossomando.

The band’s debut album “Waterloo to Anywhere” reached number 3 in the UK album charts, achieving critical acclaim, with single “Bang Bang You’re Dead” reaching Top 5 of the singles chart. The band toured throughout 2005-2007 until they split in 2008.
