Oasis were formed in 1991 by Liam Gallagher, Paul Arthurs, Paul McGuigan and Tony McCarroll and not soon after by Liam's brother Noel.

Their first album wasn't released until 1994, the critically acclaimed anthem album Definitely Maybe.
