Johnny Rotten, real name John Joseph Lydon was born in Holloway, London in 1956 and is known as a singer and songwriter. One of Punk’s leading musicians and singers, Johnny found fame in the late 1970s with Sex Pistols, between 1975 and 1978 (and various revivals in the 90s and 00s).

Johnny is also a very accomplished musician, playing the saxophone, guitar, keyboards and violin. Johnny founded PiL in 1978 and is their majestic front man. PiL performed between 1978 and 1993, splitting up and then reforming in 2009.

In recent years Johnny has turned his hand to acting on various TV shows and a certain butter advert here in the UK.

Never far from controversy with the Sex Pistols, which has been well documented over the years, there is no doubt Johnny was a pioneer of the punk scene around the world.

You can spend years searching for that one piece of punk music memorabilia. So when you eventually find it, don’t let it slip through your fingers. Make it yours now.

That's why each and every product we sell comes with its own certificate of authenticity.
