Oasis were formed in 1991 by Liam Gallagher, Paul Arthurs, Paul McGuigan and Tony McCarroll and not soon after by Liam's brother Noel.

Their first album wasn't released until 1994, the critically acclaimed anthem album Definitely Maybe.

Before their infamous split in 2009 Oasis had recorded 7 albums, sold over 70 million albums worldwide and played some of rock's most legendary concerts, including the famous 2 nights at Knebworth. 375,000 tickets sold within minutes.
