Phil Collins was born back in 1951 and has had one of the most successful careers in music, both as a solo artist and as a member of Genesis.
Phil joined Genesis in 1970 as their drummer and became lead singer in 1975, before leaving to perform solo in 1981.
Whilst with Genesis they released 11 studio albums. With 8 solo studio albums and 1 live album, Phil has gone on to sell over 150 million albums worldwide.
