Guns and Roses are a heavy metal / hard rock band, formed in 1985 in Los Angeles USA. They signed to Geffen Records in 1986 as the original, most famous line up of Axl Rose, Slash, Izzy Stradlin, Duff McKagan and Steven Adler. Numerous, public in fights and fall outs saw many of the original line up leave with only Axl Rose left from the original group.
Although it took over 1 year to reach the top spot, their first album “Appetite for Destruction” launched their career with the single release of probably their most famous song, “Sweet Child of Mine”.
In 2008 Guns and Roses released “Chinese Democracy” which is the most expensive album ever to be produced and wasn’t their most successful commercial album. Inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2012, they have sold well over 100 million albums worldwide, achieved massive critical acclaim and fan base the world over.
