David Robert Jones aka David Bowie was born in 1947 and hit the big time in 1969 with the amazing Space Oddity. Following quickly on the heels of his initial success he recreated himself as Ziggy Stardust and went on to record the iconic Starman.
Despite not touring since 2003 or performing live since 2006 Bowie has gone on to sell over 150 million albums worldwide, with a total of 25 albums, including 2013’s release "The Next Day"
David Bowie sadly passed away in January 2016 and will be missed by millions around the world.
